Yet the same digital world that makes this storytelling possible has made protecting student identity far more complex. A single image travels further, faster, and beyond the context in which it was shared. So safeguarding must answer to this complexity.

Early years to sixth form

From the first day of school to the last.

The youngest children are often the least able to consent and the most joyful to photograph. Use the comparison to inspect a synthetic example; every real result still requires trained human review.

We are inviting a small number of school leaders, safeguarding leads and communications teams to help us test Halo responsibly and improve how it fits real school practice.

Pilot participation is bounded by documented processing authority, access, provider, region and retention decisions. It never creates automatic authority to approve or publish media.
